About Amy
I came to bodywork from the world of finance, depleted from the mental and physical challenges of a predominantly sedentary, stressful lifestyle. Seeking a change, I enrolled at Bodyology in London, where Dror Steiner, a leader in the Holistic Massage space, inspired me to pursue a life of helping others. My passion for living well and realisation that – more than ever – we are in need of a good massage, saw my life take a sudden new direction.
Since qualifying, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world learning different massage techniques. In India I trained with Ananta Sylvain Girard, founder of the ARYM Institute and a globally recognised trainer and practitioner in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage. I also learned Ayurbalance, a Myofascial Remoulding Bodywork, from Chetan Baghel, who has taught at many institutions around the world, namely the Rosenberg European Academy of Ayurveda in Germany.
Whilst training I volunteered at a charity. It was this opportunity that cemented my passion for complimentary therapies, after seeing the physical and mental transformations of my clients. This experience also highlighted the gap in affordable and accessible “wellbeing”, which planted the seed for a community-focused offering.
With an enduring curiosity and dedication to the latest developments in bodywork, I am currently pursuing JING’s BTEC Level 6 Professional Diploma in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy. My aim is to always deliver the highest quality of care and treatment to my clients.
My approach
I create a safe and nurturing environment where you can relax, heal, and let go.
After holding an in-depth consultation where we will explore your unique needs, I will curate a 1–6-week treatment plan to help you achieve your wellbeing goals through skilled massage therapy.
Each treatment will use a combination of heat therapy, myofascial release, deep-tissue, acupressure, stretching and teaching self-care to achieve the desired outcome. These advanced techniques are effective in the treatment of chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder, RSI (repetitive strain injury), headaches and migraine, TMJ, whiplash, sports injuries, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, pain from pregnancy and stress related conditions.
Rest-assured you are in good hands.
I’m really fascinated by the mind, body connection and how chronic pain manifests.
