Hi! I’m Kimberley – Chinese medicine practitioner, acupuncturist at Life + Lemons Integrative Health Clinic and (MASSIVE) self-care advocate.
I will be guiding you through this 1 hour workshop today to help lift and shift this heavy cloud that is weighing over us, in a time of fear and uncertainty.
So often we get fixated on what we need to do to feel better, to do better, to be better. Be it a yoga class or therapeutic treatment, we’re always looking externally for solutions. It’s always someone else that can fix us, right? Because we don’t know enough, we’re not experienced enough, we’re not confident enough… sound familiar?
I know this because I’ve been there. In fact, sod it, I still am!
Self care isn’t easy. But with time, patience and a big smooch of self love, slowly these transient moments of “care” become habits.
Unconscious, unknowing states of mind whereby we take a step back, take a breath and give back to ourselves as we give to others.
There are so many tools and techniques that we have right at our finger tips, if only we were to dig a little deeper and reveal these truths to ourselves, rather than fulfilling this perpetuating cycle of self sabotage.
So, I created this webinar from the knowledge that our health is in our hands, and that we have the power to create positive and sustainable changes to our own health. By combining my love of all things Chinese medicine, I wanted to share with you 3 of my favourite self-care techniques that you can easily integrate into your day to day routines.
