Pelvic Pain Recovery Pathway

Finally, deeper support for painful cycles, endometriosis, and hormonal symptoms.

Who this is for

Do any of these sound familiar?

Chronic pelvic pain;

Endometriosis or adenomyosis;

Painful, heavy, or irregular periods;

Hormonal ups and downs that affect your daily life.

If so, this programme was created with you in mind.

What to expect?

Pelvic pain can affect far more than your period. We look at when symptoms occur, how they affect sleep, work and movement, and what you have already tried. Bowel, bladder and sex-related symptoms are part of that conversation if you wish to discuss them.

For example, a plan for pain that builds before each period may need different appointment timing and review priorities from a plan for symptoms that persist throughout the month. We explain the recommendation and agree what you want to change.

Our pathway brings together a planned treatment schedule, symptom tracking and regular reviews. We compare pain scores with changes in daily life and flare patterns, then adapt care around your response. Where another clinician’s assessment or support would be helpful, we discuss that with you.

You can complete our free pelvic health assessment before your appointment to organise your symptoms and priorities.

Your initial consultation and treatment is the starting point for your care. We’ll discuss:

  • Your pain history, flare patterns and what is happening now.
  • Your cycle and any bowel, bladder or sex-related symptoms you wish to discuss.
  • Relevant diagnoses, investigations, medicines and previous treatments.
  • How pain affects your sleep, work, movement and wider wellbeing.
  • Your priorities and what you hope to gain from treatment.

We’ll explain acupuncture, answer your questions and discuss whether treatment is suitable for you. Treatment begins where appropriate and with your consent.

You’ll leave with a recommended plan and a clear review point. Where symptoms need medical assessment or another practitioner’s input, we’ll discuss the next steps with you.

Our Pelvic Pain Recovery Pathway offers structured care for chronic or cyclical pelvic pain, endometriosis, suspected endometriosis and adenomyosis, with or without a formal diagnosis.

Understand

We map your pain, flare patterns and the effect symptoms have on daily life. We consider existing investigations and agree what meaningful progress would look like for you.

Support

Personalised acupuncture and electro-acupuncture are adapted around your symptoms, cycle and known flare windows. Your plan evolves with your response, with attention to pain sensitivity, recovery and day-to-day function.

Review

We track pain, flare frequency and everyday wellbeing, reviewing changes together throughout the initial three months. Where appropriate, we also consider existing test results and wearable data.

What is included?

  • Personalised acupuncture and electro-acupuncture.
  • Functional-test result reviews and discussion of appropriate next steps.
  • Targeted flare appointments.
  • Complimentary red light therapy and PEMF where clinically appropriate.
  • Pelvic pain mapping and ongoing clinical review.

Your investment + next steps

The founding rate is £360 per month (usual price £450). The initial three-month commitment totals £1,080, paid monthly. Functional-test reviews and flare appointments are included. Coaching and the purchase of tests are not included.

At the end of three months, we discuss whether to finish, move to maintenance or continue monthly. Any further care and costs are explained before you decide.

Request a discovery call

Your review is about changes that matter to you: fewer days disrupted by pain, more comfortable sleep, or greater confidence making plans around your cycle. We agree your priorities at the start and return to them as treatment progresses.

To understand one patient’s experience, read Ruth’s endometriosis care story. Her account describes her own response, rather than a promised outcome.

FAQs

No, and that’s intentional.

The Pelvic Pain Recovery Pathway is designed as an initial recovery phase, typically completed over around 12 weeks. This timeframe reflects how long it often takes to influence pain patterns, nervous system regulation and inflammatory drivers in a meaningful way.

Pelvic pain recovery is not linear. Some people move through phases more quickly, while others benefit from spending longer in specific phases. The pathway is designed to adapt based on your response, not an arbitrary deadline.

If progress is steady but certain patterns remain stubborn, we may recommend an extension.

This allows us to:

  • Spend longer in nervous system regulation or neuromodulation
  • Support flare reduction more fully
  • Consolidate improvements before stepping down

Any extension is discussed collaboratively, with clear clinical reasoning and no pressure to continue.

The initial commitment is three months at £360 per month. During this time we review your response and adapt your care.

There is no requirement to continue indefinitely. At the end of the initial three months, we agree whether to finish, step down to maintenance or extend your support. Any extension and costs are explained before you decide.

Traditional session packages focus on a set number of appointments, regardless of timing, response or flare patterns.

This pathway is different. It is:

  • Cycle-led rather than session-count-led
  • Phased rather than fixed
  • Reviewed and adapted as your body responds
  • Designed around recovery, not just symptom management

You are not paying for sessions. You are engaging in a clinical pathway of care.

We review your progress and adjust treatment to what you need. If symptoms improve early, we can use the remaining initial phase to consolidate progress and plan maintenance.

The initial three-month commitment still applies. We explain the terms before you enrol and discuss any change to your care with you.

Flare-ups are common in chronic pelvic pain and do not mean treatment is failing.

This pathway includes:

  • Built-in flare support options
  • Cycle-timed treatment adjustments
  • Nervous system regulation strategies

You are not expected to manage flares alone or wait until your next scheduled appointment.

No.

A formal diagnosis is not required. Many people experience significant pelvic pain without clear imaging findings.

What matters is your symptom pattern, cycle relationship and clinical presentation, which are explored in your Pelvic Pain Mapping Consultation.

Reviews of functional test results and flare appointments are included in the £360 monthly pathway.

The purchase of tests is separate, and any recommended test and its cost are discussed with you first. Coaching is not included in this pathway.

Recovery relies on consistency rather than perfection.

We ask that you:

  • Attend treatments regularly
  • Communicate changes in symptoms
  • Engage with cycle awareness and nervous system support where recommended
  • Allow time for gradual change

The pathway is collaborative, not prescriptive.

At the end of the initial recovery phase, we review progress and discuss next steps.

Options may include:

  • Stepping down from treatment
  • A short extension phase
  • Transition into lighter ongoing support

There is always a clear, agreed plan forward.
