Acupuncture in Nepal

Helping Victims of the 2015 Earthquakes

Natural Healthcare in Acute Humanitarian Aid

Acupuncturist in Sheffield, Kimberley Shepherd, went to Nepal to help victims of 2015 Earthquakes in Nepal.

Event

Acupuncture in Acute Healthcare

Against tremendous obstacles of poverty, in regions where the struggle to survive often displaces basic medical needs, I set on a mission to help victims of the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal.

Offering multi-bed acupuncture in a primary healthcare clinic over 8 weeks, over 1200 patients were provided with often life-saving or life-changing treatment.

Join me for a short, visual story of human connection and compassion that aims to create long-lasting effects within isolated and disadvantaged communities in Nepal.

Find out about the successes of patients on their emotional and physical journey to better health following devastating circumstances with a sustainable, integrated healthcare system.

How you can help |

I will be offering 10 patients the opportunity to experience multi-bed acupuncture throughout the day, giving you a taste of an affordable approach to physical and emotional care.

Each treatment will last from 30 minutes and is on a pay-as-you-feel basis. 100% of funds are being donated to Unicef’s #NepalEarthquakeRelief. Recommended donation £10-£15.

What else is going on |

This is a FREE open day event for the Stillpoint Practice in Nether Edge so there will be loads going on. Talks, workshops, tea, cake and taster sessions. Everybody welcome
